Black tuxedo hire — what to know.

Formal hire at Man About Town ranges from 0 to 0, depending on the style and what's included. We'll confirm the exact price for your chosen outfit when you're fitted on the premises.
A peak lapel tuxedo features pointed lapels that angle upward toward the shoulders — bold, structured, and considered the more formal silhouette. A shawl collar runs in a single continuous curved line from collar to button, offering a cleaner, more classic look. Both are appropriate for black tie.
Your hire includes the jacket and matching dress trousers, a white dress shirt, black bow tie, dress studs and cufflinks. Every item is fitted on the premises and pressed before collection. A cummerbund is available as an extra, and dress shoes can be added for $50.
Same-day tuxedo hire is generally available. Walk in, and we will fit, make any alterations and press the garment within the hour — subject to stock availability. For guaranteed same-day service, it is worth calling ahead first.
For a single hire, two to three weeks is comfortable. For a wedding party or group of six or more, we recommend four to six weeks to ensure every member is fitted properly and alterations are completed without rush.
Yes. A black tuxedo is an excellent choice for an evening or formal wedding ceremony. It is the standard dress for black tie weddings and a popular choice for grooms who prefer the authority of black tie over a lounge suit.
