Man About Town has been fitting tuxedos in Sydney since 1987. Our showroom in the CBD carries peak lapel and shawl collar tuxedos in black, ivory and navy — as well as white tie evening tails for the most formal occasions. Every hire is fitted on the premises and altered in-house.
Walk in off the street or book ahead. Same-day hire is generally available. For weddings and groups, we fit the whole party together so the result is consistent on the night.

The tuxedo range.
Black Peak Lapel
The most architecturally considered of all tuxedo cuts — pointed satin-faced lapels angling upward toward the shoulder.
Black Shawl Collar
A single continuous satin lapel without break or notch. Softer in line, equally formal at the evening table.
Ivory Shawl Collar
White jacket, continuous black satin shawl lapel, black trousers and black bow tie. The contrast that commands a room.
White Dinner Jacket
An ivory dinner jacket for the occasion that calls for a clear step apart. Worn with black trousers and a black bow tie.
Navy Tuxedo
Midnight blue shawl collar tuxedo. Under artificial light, navy reads richer than black — distinguished without deviation.
Evening Tails
Black evening tailcoat, peak lapels in satin. Worn with a white waistcoat and white bow tie — the most formal option.
